Working on the bike again after a long pause 😁

Welding therace didn't work for me... but it did give me a place to  get some grip and work it out after 10 minutes of carefully prying back and forth.

I ordered the Incognito steering stem to mate the GSXR forks to the Silverwing frame 👍

And started sandblasting the frame at lunch today.

I'll be working the Porsche Rennsport Renion next week so no progress will be made on the bike 😬

I pressed the Suzuki stem out and the new stem in. It's a very nice piece with great machine work & precise tolerances... it went in smoothly didn't complain at all.

Also primered some pieces at lunchtime

Sandblasting is fun for five minutes.. then the fun stops.

Another hour of sandblasting... it never ends

Yes. Save the blaster for those little crannies that you can't get a scraper/wire brush/scrubber into. And wear heavy rubber gloves!
