Brake side came out great, not perfect but it's not a show bike, taped up the driveshaft side and sanded, seems 220, 400, red rouge works out the best, used a little 100 on some rough areas, didn't want a mirror just looking more old school.
Mounting the wheels back on today so hopefull get a shot, then I can add the new rear brake bar.
Tank is almost done with the body work, it was a mess.
Had a large shallow dent in it, used a suction device I bought at Oreilly and a rubber mallet to pull it out, then a few taps outside the perimeter and pow it's fixed, that was easy.

PS I use a plastic lid under a plastic pail to sand on in the bathtub (it's 26 outside) so it catches the aluminum etc so that I can dump it outside. A little soap in the small bucket with warm water to clean the wet dry sandpaper which is pretty often to keep it cutting.

Tank is painted, have to build a mount for the exhaust, PO didn't have one, and wrap them. Also bought a cool Ferrari emblem from Thailand (still has what backing, just test fit), once I repaint the air filter, have to decide on black or red.

Well sanded and re-painted the air filter and added the Ferrari emblem, stripped and polished the side covers, changed the oil and filter, can't wait for better weather

if the Ferrari badges piss off one Ferrari owner its worth it

I chopped the H off my CB750 badges so they read ONDA just to piss off the restorer crowd and it worked a treat, mind you it was also painted winter/urban camo so that helped too

great looking bike by the way, nice work and congrats on a girlfriend that helps with the build
short fast loud, three things punk rock and vmaxs have in common

Thanks for the feedback guys, I already had someone on facebook ask if it's a Ferrari motorcycle so it may create some laughs from the rattle my jewelry crowd. Just don't want it to look like orange county choppers. My GF works for a tire franchise here and her expertise on mounting was valuable, like the little yellow circle should be near the valve stem and having REAL tire lube as in these temps those tires were not stretching.
