Honda CB125E engine swap
« on: Jan 12, 2017, 08:42:55 »
I have just bolted in a Zongshen 250 single into my CB125E, almost bolted straight in just had to move 1 mount. Has anyone else done this? I think the frame and brakes will handle it but until it is fully running I won't know, also fitted a 55 Benelli tank and seat cowl bought off Ebay, that was much more trouble than the engine change. Would love some feed back off anyone who may have done this engine change before.

I've seen a few threads where people have swapped in Lifan motors - pretty much the same thing.

I have one of these bikes, mostly standard. The front end is....flexy? I do everything with it, but it seems a bit too flexy for a 250. How is it going? Woohoo, original tyres :)
