Rolling tank seams
« on: Feb 20, 2017, 14:14:51 »
Hey guys!

I ran into this little tank i would like to fit on my new XS 750 project.
Is it possible to roll the welding seams of that gas tank over without it leaking?
How would you guys go about?

If it were me, I would use an adjustable wrench clamped over the seam and inch by inch bend it inward.

Possible without leaks? Probably not, but just weld up any little leaks afterwards.
