Nice you see you back in action, Kamn!!!  8) 8) 8)

If you want more bamboo for riser material (and possibly limbs...) I have a small pile of 70"1 1/2" bamboo taking up space in my garage, as well as a cutting board-sized piece at the in-law's. Possibly some cherry, too from the first canoe paddle I made (botched it - the second one turned out sweet!). Let me know!

Thanks Cookie,
I will probably take you up on the offer because any chance for extra woods is always appreciated

I just popped open the form, removed the pressure hose, removed the pressure strip, took off the bracing, and Voila!

Glue joints all look nice and tight, it came out straight to the eye but will check with a laser and string later

Looking like I have a useable bow, just need to sand off all the excess glue and will have more understanding of how good it is

My dad has a recurve he made in highschool, Likely a little to old to pull back now but Ive always wanted to make my own.  This is a super cool project.  Cant wait to see it done, maybe once im through my backlog of bike projects i'll try something similar.
