1982 XR500R the forgotten one

Helped a family member fix his cb360 a while back and offered this XR as payment. Haven't had time to work on it till now and it's got a couple issues.

After kicking it over for about fifteen minutes I got it to fire up and it ran horribly but it ran. Pulled it in the garage started pulling it down to get the carb off and re route the cables because they were a mess. Once I got the carb out I find the air cut off valve was worn through and turned into a nice filter.

Finished digging into it and found this

How do you bend the needle like that? Especially since everything else looks okay, no scoring or anything like that. Well regardless I need a new needle and rebuild kit but I'm not sure what carb it has on it. Anyone know what carb this is?

Keihin pd or something like that?

Seems like I can find info on the 83-84 but the 82 seems to have almost disappeared from the face of the earth.
