The Coot

So this has priority over the xs650 I recently picked up.  It is a 4wd amphibious atv from the 60s.  It is currently getting panels replaced and I already have a 10hp diesel to drop in.https://flic.kr/s/aHskLS82Wh

I got lucky and found a chinese 186 diesel that had been rebuilt with all yanmar parts.  It is a single cylinder, air cooled, mechanical direct injection engine with 10hp and about 20lb/ft of torque.

Watching for sure, that thing reminds me of something from Firefly.
I'm not sure, but don't ask Brodie.

Way to many build and half done projects to list here.

The link to the flickr album is where I will be posting most pictures.  I bought it in rough shape, no engine, missing some parts and a fair amount of rust and damage from being run into things.  Right now I am working on the rust repair, after than will be getting the parts to convert to 4 wheel steering while I redo the engine mount, and then it should be about done other than accessories.
