Got the measurements, just what I needed. Thanks a bunch. I thought it was plastic before but I see now it's just bent sheet metal. Should be able to make one up pretty easy.

Cool beans man, hope they are clear enough lol. Both the rvs I'm working on are shot. Fun time. A buddy of mine just picked up a rv90 in really great shape for cheap, started right up.

Time to get this project back on track. Hardware came in yesterday. Very happy with the results. I sent it out to Parker Metal Finishing in Greensboro, NC. SHINY.

Been busy. Got the wheels and hubs painted. Mounting the tires was a massive headache, between keeping the tube inside the tire and not pinching between the halves, keeping the gasket centered, and bolting them together.

These updates are gonna be slightly out of order. Last week I painted the seat pan. Last night I tackled the foam and recover.

I took some foam from a crusty old XL seat I had lying around, cut out the most damaged areas to square off the existing foam, then glued blocks in place and carved them down with a woodworking hasp.

Here’s what I started with:

Donor foam glued in place and carved down.

Covered with 1/2” upholstery foam. Looks a little lumpy here but it doesn’t matter - when you stretch the cover it compresses the foam enough to smooth all the irregularities.

Cover installed. I got this cover from eBay and it is fantastic fit and quality. Super happy with the product.

Just have to install the strap, I’ll get that done later today.
