Screw extraction of stripped screw help
« on: Jun 17, 2017, 23:30:36 »
So I'm trying to remove the covers to adjust the valves on a 72 CB450 for the first time on this bike and the screws are fubar. I made sure to use the correct sized screw driver and a few of the screws are really brittle and cracked/stripped.

I've tried cutting a slice with a dremel tool so I can unscrew with a big flathead screwdriver, but the screws are like butter.

Does anyone know a way to remove these screws?

Awesome! I borrowed my neighbors impact driver kit and it worked! Thanks!

Now I need major help with removing those covers and adjusting the valves, but I will start a new thread for that.

Thanks again!
