Wiring help CB550 K1
« on: Oct 19, 2017, 12:16:23 »
Hello fam

Currently having issues with wiring and was wondering if someone can help me pinpoint the problem
I currently have a project CB550 and having trouble getting power to my black wire the main pos wire i suppose

My 3 fuses main fuse and such are all not shorted

My main wiring harness is brand new purchased from 4into1

My left and right modules are also new replicas

I currently can put my key in pos 3 and get power to my tail light

In position 2 my test light does not light on any black wires

Red wires from battery to solenoid lights up no problem

The black wire coming out of the solenoid does not light up when in pos 2

Can anybody explain to me how the current moves through the wires from the battery

The main battery pos wire of course gives me light

The wire connected to the same node gives me light

But not sure how the power is supposed to travel through to the black wire

If anyone can give me some guidance as to how i can find the problem it would be a great help! Thank you guys in advanced

The black wire(s) all receive power directly from the ignition switch.

Red feeds power into black in position one.
