« on: Oct 17, 2017, 08:16:57 »
Hey Guys!

IŽm going to be in New York city this Oktober.
Do you have any hints custom bike, restaurant and nice places wise?

Thanks in advance!
The humble Austrian.

I lived in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, for about 5 months a couple years ago so my experience is pretty limited. But close to me were two interesting places: Indian Larry Motorcycle shop and Motogrrl. Motogrrl sponsors a Halloween ride if you are there for that (and I think a few other shops in the area are involved too). Tons of great places to eat and of course pizza is everywhere. There's a pretty fantastic Indonesian restaurant called Selamat Pagi on Driggs, and tons of Polish food where I was. Greenpoint is just north of Williamsburg, and it was nowhere near as gentrified as Williamsburg -- but perhaps is getting there by now.

Sixth St Specials and Works Engineering, both cool shops. The Great Frog, actually a jewelry shop, but cool Moto stuff too.

Where are you moving too?

Lurkshop is probably the best motorcycle shop in town these days.
