Added a cigarette lighter style plug for the dash. My intention is to add another USB style plug...

After 120 offroad miles this weekend, and 20 or so a month ago, my tail piece (the part that holds the tail light and license plate) loosened mid trip.  Both times, I had to zip tie it back on to get through to home base.  As it turns out, these things, as bulky as they are, are only mounted with two screws.  Behind the tail like are to rubber isolated pins that fit into holes in the back of the frame.  Vibration from the terrain and constant jarring, plus the weight of the part lead to loosening that nothing wants to fix.  Plus, these screws threaded into clip on nuts, which may not be the best for these circumstances.  To solve my problem, I machined and thread two delrin sleeves that replace the rubber parts, then nuts and washers to make for a more secure fit.  I also threaded screws through the frame on the sides and used nuts and washers as all four points. Finally, I trimmed the bottom of the tail piece off to cut the weight in half.

Ha I saw that pic on FB, who went first?  You?  That's pretty deep, close to air box height.

I was probably 6th.  That pic is taken right about the moment I hit a huge river rock, which shifted me left to the deep side.  I have a pair of dual filter Uni's on this thing.  It's right at their height, but somehow they never fill with water.

If you keep moving forward there's usually a pocket of air under you. Looks like you guys had a blast, I need to save a few days vacation for May so I can get to the Thaw, I always seem to be out of days.
