Mine is held on a similar way but I used a large piece of aluminum angle to accomplish the same type of mount. I'll get pictures this weekend when I get over to the garage where my bike is

You've got a sweet setup with all the tooling and time to play with different combinations. I'm subscribed and anxious to see and learn from what you accomplish. Good luck with the fuel injection project, can't wait to see how it all turns out.

I've hauled my cb350 in a metro hatchback, it'll fit just as others have said, take some of the subassemblies off and all will go well

That front fairing changes the whole character of the bike, I like it. It'd be really cool to make the fairing and cowl be easily removed for two completely different looks so you can change things up when ever you like with little hassle. Can't wait to see how this all works out. Sweet build...

Maybe take your cardboard template and incorporate the radius of the tire? I'm sure what ever you come up with will look amazing as usual
