Re: The Belgian cb 360 and some more finished builds
Drove the hell out of the bike this weekend @ the track between full preped ducatis, laverdas and honda's with twice the engine I have and managed to drive the same laptimes as them with my little self build Honda. They weren't that happy...
I've smoothen out clutch basket and clutch plate carrier of my cj 360 and xl 250 by grinding down all the sharp edges with a small file and they work fine now.
Kind regards.
Re: The Belgian cb 360 and some more finished builds
Just finished a complete rebuild on my cj 360 with pj's 378 conversion and copper gaskets from lani.
Runs really great and feels way stronger than before.
Awesome man lani, if you need gaskets send him a mail!!.
Changed the rear of the cj...
Re: The Belgian cb 360

Re: The Belgian cb 360

Those carbs work very well, are cheap and easy to jet.

you have to drill out the buttons and buy something like those: https://www.tpoparts.com/cat093/index.php?route=product/product&path=2&product_id=225 or like i did with my racing pitbike but I wont recommend it on the street: is after you drilled the buttons out, you remove the little spring and...
Most of the time it's the heart of the rotor that is bend, not the actual brake disc. So you can search for a worn rotor with a straight heart and put the two good pieces together. Saves a lot of money.
Why do you want to use usd gsxr forks? In my opinion you just dont need that kind of forks on a little cb. I use a fork of a fzr 600 (38mm) Just a little bit bigger then the original ones and have decent dampening characteristics.
No need to have a stiffer fork then those with such a flexible...
Indeed the stock is 92mm but in high speed cornering/cornering non perfect flat road the bike will be a little bit to unstable. How did you calculate this 88mm? Because when the offset of triple clamps is decreased, the trail increases, the smaller front wheel will decrease the trail but not...
