Didn't I read you said you didn't have spark? If that's so, that's at least part of your problem. What do the plugs look like? Gassy, sooty, etc.? Have you tried replacing the plugs with new ones? (opps, I see you have new plugs) Assuming the kill switch is bypassed correctly, did you try kick...

The charging systems on these bikes are notoriously weak, I just don't imagine you need to worry about a regulator.

Sorry, I can't really comment on the all-in-one and such, but I found on my CB450, I only needed to replace the rectifier, which as I understand it can be the weak point in the charging systems of these bikes. Anyway, you might check out this guys stuff...

Got everything wired up for the switch I have (very similar to OP's), K&S 12-0030 and a CB450. Here's how it shakes out, should help others with this or similar switch: Horn: pink to light green (main) black to green (ground) blue to brown/white - (tail light) yellow to HL blue (high beam)...

I'm in the process of hooking up a very similar switch... same brand K&S just the 0030 version (no kill switch). And I have the same CB450 bike. While I'm having trouble with headlight, I did get the horn to work :) Since I wasn't sure if you had the horn working or not I could help with...

I have a CB450, I run VM32... I think VM30 for you. This is what I know some others run on theirs.
