Yeah Hardline_42 I understand your feels about the headlight. I bought it because it was cheaper than even getting an OEM used light. The biggest advantage is the sight that I have now. I can see about 2x as much. I'll take safety over looks any day. I am looking to do a fork conversion soon.
Finally my running light took a dive :'( . But Then I found a LED halo light that looks freaking sweet and i changed the turn signals to more modern small chrome.
Then off came the tank and rear plastic to get rid of the bump, dings, and rust. As you can See they werent in too bad of shape. But they aren't perfect yet.
Then I found some Chrome engine guards on ebay for it. Gotta love them barn finds. It was still in the plastic and came with a thinner nut and washer so you could keep your main engine mounting bolt!!
My first project was the battery box. It was one of the few items that the previous owner didn't touch so I just ground it down and spray painted it black. It turned out better than what i had expected. 8)

I'm new to the site and forums in general so hi! I've got a 1977 Suzuki GS750. It was very clean and partially restored when I came a crossed it so I couldn't turn it down. These are some pictures of it last august when I purchased it.
