You might be able to get away with getting rid of that motor mount. That motor mount is right by the drive sprocket and the kick starter though. I would think you would want maximum strength in that area. It will make the frame more rigid to have that motor mount there. Polishing looks nice.

I would cut at arrow 2 and make a new motor mount. I think it will look better and be stronger. Nice start to the build!

freedomgli, I've done a few things over the last couple months but not a whole lot. Here are a few pics: new seat hinge. didnt like my first attempt. Seat remounted I think the seat looks better now Homemade chain tensioners I cleaned up the fender more. Still not done though...

Homemade Bobber Design? Input? Right on! Definitely better with the bend in the lower tube of the hard tail. The chain might have hit the frame with the original design.

Thanks man! Me too! Got my hand controls in the mail today! Speed holes! Removed the factory front tank mounts. They were sticking out too far and interfering with the new tank. Patched it.

Got 2 j bends today along with a long drive chain and a top hat bung for mounting the tank. I bought mounting tabs for the front of the tank at a swap meet over the weekend. Pics of the other parts will be posted soon.

Can't wait to see the engine in it and the wheels on! Those boys do nice work!
