It seems to look pretty good on the inside, but it also looks like it may have been sealed before? This is my first bike so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I'll post some pictures later to see if I should have it stripped and sealed.

Ahhhh...good call. I didn't even think of that. The hole is on the bottom of the left side of the tank. maybe 1/4 of an inch from the bottom? I don't think a spot of jb weld would be noticeable. Thanks!
