I finally got the plates for my bike the other day. The FZR fighter is running good and also looks alot better than it used too.
Small things left like the headerpipes. Not sure what to do with those. Maybe exhaust wrapping.
It gets to hot for any paint we sell here in Norway.

Got the parts that have new paint on them today. Looks good. Got some inspiration from my Yamaha SR 500 Cafe Racer ;)

Yeah. The reason this build is alive again is the sound of the bike ;D
I was going to sell it but when it fired up with adjusted valves and carbs the sound was great.
So now ill try and get it ready for the season of 2014 :)

Put some new primer, paint and some coats of clear on my FZR brakes today.
Looks good and ill probably do this to the rear brake as well now. :)

Finally its actually beeing done something with this bike. Plan was to just get it going then sell it.
But it sounded so good after adjusting the valves and carbs i now wanne try and get it done ;)

Hey all
I just got myself a nice 1983 RD/RZ 350 YPVS. And i want to make it a nice streetfighter.
I see that many choose a rear-end and front from Suzuki RGV 250.
Does anyone have a link to a website or blogg were someone has done some work
like this on a RD/RZ 350??

Been a while but ive done som progress at least and meet a few problems as well.
Im done with the front and rear wheel. But i still need to put the rear brake on.
Other problems is the fact that its not that easy to mount a headlight as i thought...

The front forks will fit fine i think. No need to grind.
The back end will be modified to fit a R1 streetfighter seat unit. Not sure how ill make it fit yet but im not in a hurry... yet :)

Finally got rid of the clip ons. Used parts from a Honda CL 200 from 1974 i think. 7 bucks from ebay plus shipping to Norway ;)
Things are looking good, but need some paint. Also will have some problems with wires and such beeing too short.

That is an awesome build!! I know of a cheap and very good project like this with lots of parts. To bad its so heavy it will probarbly fall through the floor in my shed ;)

Yea i dont really think i have a chance of finding a top yoke that will match perfect. But i have a very good mecahinc buddy who can perform small miracles some times.

The bike wont be stock again. The fairing is to expensive and ive already bought a R1 streetfighter rearend plastic cover including a nicely used seat.
Also here in this country this bike is very rare and therefore not easy to sell. A totally...
