Yes, I stepped down to a 35mm, the original 36mm was just too big, could never get it leaned out enough. runs fine now..:)

No problems with the airflow, the 36 mm carb SUCKS air from any angle.... I will be posting some close ups and detailed pics of the carb/intake setup both on my website and here on the boards.

Yes it runs great with the manifold setup and single carb, its all about jetting... I used white enamel "paint pen" you can get at any local hobby/art supply store for the lettering on the tires, seems to be holding up just fine.
