Started working on a bike for my friend who wants to start riding with the group.
He picked this bike up for next to nothing and had some pretty interesting design ideas but i dig it so far. Here are some before and afters.

You can buy pre-bent rear "hoops" based on the distance between your existing shock mounts. I would just weld straight tubing from the backbone to the rear hoop.
You're pretty much spot on. I read wrong and thought the hinges were the same on earlier models and changed on the later ones but its the other way around. The seat does interfere with the tank since the tank is longer.
Luckily I have another bike for riding hard, the weight of this bike plus 2 up riding concerns me though. Having front and rear disks helps too, the rear brake on these F models has some serious stopping power- that disk is massive haha.
ok thanks, iv always gone with sintered/semi metallic. i know those kevlar organic pads need to be beaten pretty hard to get to operating temps. im just concerned with metallics that have the wrong composition (too much brass?) they can eat these older rotors up pretty fast from what i hear.

When looking for new pads for my front brake I'm finding one million different brands and materials.
Anybody have a good brand that is maybe better than Honda nos pads.
I want to change the pads and hone the rotor and maybe wont need SS lines on there.
Did you remove your stock seat to put on a fiberglass cafe racer seat or a dime city brat seat?! Dont have any use for the stock seat anymore?! Guess what? Im looking for one!!!! Preferably a complete seat but I would take a pan or pan/foam so long as its not rotted out.
