Finally got around to updating this build. Since we last left off I ended up with some electrical issues where the start button would not work. So after 2 starter solenoids I found out the area under the turn signal switch needed to be sanded down to achieve connection and since then she works...

I do plan on lowering the front end probably an inch, it may go lower depending on how it feels. The ultimate goal is to upgrade the front end completely. I did end up selling the DCC seat a few weeks ago. I am now in the process of cleaning out my garage so I can move the XS in and work on it...

That was awesome, I hope to still be riding at that age.

Great build, I'm working on a XS750 Special as well, so I will be watching this thread. Quick question, for the tank swap did you do any modifications to the front mount on the frame as well?

I have a Licks Visormatic 6000 (Mirror version), I bought it and test fitted it on my 3/4 and decided to not use it since it wouldn't allow me to use my eye glasses. $40 + shipping for it. Photos of it can be seen on this website...

Got my tank in today, and it looked good. All I have to do is connect the fuel hose, add the in-line filter, add some gas and she is ready to ride. Next thing to do is get the rear hoop welded on and possibly replace the Dime City Brat seat with a hand made custom seat.

Re: 78' XS750 Parts, Universal taillight The price is 25 shipped for the tails. As far as fitting on a Seca, it could be possible with modification as with most universal taillights. These replace the taillight and turn signals, it's all-in-one.
