    Got the seat painted today. Wondering if it needs some silver highlights to make it pop against the black of the frame.

    Sprayed my air filter covers Ford Blaze red then decided it would look odd with red below the horizontal line of the tank and seat so painted them black. This is the red I will be using for the tank and seat.

    Decided to try and use the baffles out of the original mufflers so I chopped them up and slid it in the new case. Will see how it all goes.

    Made a fibreglass pan for upholstering and glued in some closed cell foam Tried some diamond pattern then flat vinyl but didn't like the seat thickness as it makes the rear jump useless so I pulled it all off

    Had a go at relacing my wheels and fitted them up to see how it all looked Obviously I still need to tighten all spokes, have to respray the hoops so that will happen following

    Decided to wet sand and polish the forks again too Decided to polish up my pipes too despite there being a dent in one

    Cleaned up my switches and fitted gp style levers

    Mounted the engine and got very excited. Bought some new reverse cone 'mufflers' with no internal baffles

    Stripped the frame of all paint at his point. Then sprayed it with black epoxy enamel.

    Decided it was then time to take a shot at mounting the rear light, plate and indicators

    Things have progressed dramatically since I last posted a long.... time ago. Got the motor covers all fitted up with new gaskets Decided to reduce the size of the front guard My dad then helped me with mounting the tank and seat to the frame

    Decided rather than buying new rear shocks that i would have a go at rejuvenating the originals, removed the rust with coke and 00 steel wool, sprayed the springs with Killrust epoxy enamel and polished the struts.

    Welded up a quick stand to get the motor up where i could clean it, following a serious degrease and clean i then sprayed the cases. and began polishing parts
