    Always been rumors... The first Stig, Perry McCarthy, got sacked after revealing his identity. The beauty of it is... the Stig does appearances at car shows around Europe... but if you look at the photos many do not appear to be the same guy they show in the show (stature, shoulders, etc)...

    This guy was buying all the 70's bikes he could find with the idea that he would rebuild them and sell them when he retires... and the steel's were perfectly fine, just not as desirable as the alloys. He stood there and watched me try to start the damn thing while it pissed oil and gas all over...
