the only point i might make is that when i did a mechanics course(heavy duty mind you), i had an engines instructor who was really into performance this kind of stuff...

head down to your local thrift shop and grab a thick denim. truly vintage, and the old ones are high enough quality they might actually stand up to a few dumps
i think when the jacket starts to wear in and the brown begins to show through, that jackets going to look amazing, depending on what brown it was before
have you tried running a top engine cleaner through the cylinders? by the sounds of it you may need something strong like gm top engine cleaner(if you can find it). it could be that your exhaust valve cant seal from carbon build-up. it the very least it will clean the shit out of your engine...
right on guys, thats what i thought i just wondered if they made any real short term difference. now i have read about changing the gap(making it smaller) to increase the heat in the spark(less gap=less resistance and more amps) or side gaping the plug for mor surface area on the spark. is there...
