it starts but wont idle...i've seen a couple other forum posts with the same issue, but no real clear solution.

i had a buddy take a look while i started my bike, he said that he's pretty sure it's coming from that tube from the breather hole. =/ he couldn't look close enough since gas was spray'n everywhere and splash'n. =(
I started my bike for the first time this summer a couple weeks ago, with no luck! as soon as i got it to start, gas started to gush out from this tube. Anyone know why?! Or how?! My bike was run'n perfectly before i put it away for the winter. i cleaned the carbs again today and tried starting...
My riding permit expired in May so i didn't think to start up my CB450 'til this past saturday. As for my first attempt to start it, i realized the battery had died so it recharged it with a battery maintainer. after 10 mins or so, i attempted to start it again. This time, i got it to start...so...
I'm in the same boat as you! I bought the tan ribbed seat from DCC this past fall. It's been sit'n in my closet since.:( spring is right around the corner and i'm panicking. No welder, not grinder...:/ i want to keep the hinges on my stock frame as well. Kanti, may i ask if you've done any...

I appologize for not being more detailed in my description, everyone. it's the clip on bolts that are hitting my tank.:( i have no choice but to get new bars at this point....
