First try running with rerouting the stocks like Carnivorous said, worked fine for me, threw a set on on 78 kz 400 and worked just fine, took a little putzin around for routing them but a lot easier then switching them out.

I use one, never a issue, usually a very slight amount of play from the snap button alignment slots, not sure why it would be so loose unless a button broke or its not snapped on properly ? maybe remove it and snap it back on ?
