A friend suggested that I paint the subframe to match the rest of the bike till I have a chance to strip and powder coat the whole thing. It was too bright white so I knocked it back and made it look a little more aged. Complete with scratches!
Here's the seat mounted on the bike. It's not exactly the fit on the rear of the seat that I had in my concept image, nor does it fit as snug against the tank as I would like it to. I'm quite happy with the flush fit by using the rivets.
This is my 3rd custom seat cover from my guy on ebay. Send him a template and he'll send you whatever shape you need. I didn't do a great at documenting this process but it's the steel seat pan, 1 layer of play tiles, and then the foam stitched into the seat cover. It's not very comfortable but...

I thought the front end needed something extra so I made this MX style fender out of a fender off a cb360. I'll most likely paint it to match the cowl and tank.
