Just a Vanson Sport Rider MKII.
I bought a Langlitz Columbia new back in 1985. I wore it for ten years all over the world while in the service. Then out grew it and sold it back to langlitz for the same price I paid. $250.
I wish I still had it to give to my boys.
Looking forward to your project. The picture you posted for your inspiration is killer.
I love the old KZ's. I have a 1981 KZ550.
Good Luck and have fun with it.
Tim

...well, the deal is she is such a clean good running low mile bike I hate to cut into her.
She Runs great. The carbs have NEVER been messed with. There are still have plugs over the Air/Fuel screws. I have everything to put her back to stock. I think I am just going to ride her the way she...
Re: 82' KZ440 Brat'Cafe'?: Engine in, got a roller, seat next
Here is what I have done with my KZ550 ltd seat.

I shortened the rear fender and added a "Lucas Style" tail light. Swaped out the LTD 550 badges with KZ550 badges. I have some new bar end mirrors and turn signals to put on as well.
I think it is looking better. I wanted the seat lower in the back but it is what it is.
Thanks,
Tim
