Thanks, it was a good deal and super clean so I couldn't pass it up. I'm going to adjust the valves, jet the carbs, oil pan gasket and that's about it. I swapped the coils for a set I had already and made new plug wires for it. Probably sell it in about a month though, I've got too many...
I like the shape of that one Hoosier. I ended up getting an led strip, very unlike my style usually! I made a plate bracket that it will go on and attach to the rear of the seat. This weather is getting me down, too cold to work in my garage. Hopefully I get it all back together soon though...
Thanks for the input. I did make a vertical plate/tail light holder but didn't like the look. Also, in Illinois they don't technically allow a vertical plate... I've got a thin led strip that I'm going to use. I just need to get some free time to make a plate holder and mount for it.
Anyone have a part # for this missing slow jet? It's a keihin vb42. I'm looking for a 35, just need to figure out what the jet looks like and or a part #. The whole rack is missing them! I've been googling for an hour and haven't found a clear answer yet...
