Denver People - I'm looking for some 1.75" Exhaust Tubing and either some pre bent mandrel bends (45 deg) or an exhaust shop that will bend up some tubing at specified angles. I've tried a few muffler shops but their dies only go down to 2". Any help will be much appreciated.
Here is the list of what I'm using for electronics
12v Scooter Battery 7amp
Ignition switch
points
1x condenser
Mike's XS Coils
Rectifier from Radio Shack
Stock Regulator
High/Low Switch for head light
On/Off Switch for head light (back light stays on all the time)
Brake switch on rear pedal...
Thanks
here are the best pics I have:
the battery holder is some box I found at the thrift store, under the seat is an aluminum electronics enclosure that I cut up to fit. If I were to do it again I would fabricate my own from sheet metal because it was more of a pain trying to modify...
when i had trouble with my CB450 it was timing. Make double sure your timing, both valve and ignition are dead on. Also try reversing the leads for the coils I had mine swapped so it had spark but the wrong coil was firing at TDC. What are the compression readings, it should be around 180psi...
so after checking the ignition timing twice, and endlessly fooling with the carbs I've sourced my misfiring/ bogging issues. The right side float was junk and would fill up with gas creating a rich condition through the whole throttle range. Replaced it, cleaned the carbs again and it is...
what kind of tank? I have a rusty stock cb450, some suzuki tank that is pretty cool, a cb360 in good shape, coffin, prism, and a huge harley tank that all can be had for cheap. Just pm if you are interested.

I tried two ways and both seem to work ok, the first was using a hinge on the front and some bolts right into the seat pan. I just tapped the seat pan for 1/4-20 and bolted it from underneath. Then I wanted to move the position so I used Dual-Lock (3m super velcro) and it seems to be holding...
Sorry to hear about the fall, hope all is well. Some of the roads around Denver are pretty brutal to ride on so I hear where you are coming from. They always say that you will go down eventually so be glad you made it out ok. I have a stretched cb360 frame that someone welded on extensions...
I'll probably make but I need to fix my damn leaking gas tank first. Last month was a decent turnout probably 25 bikes, the weather should be better this Thursday so hopefully it will be packed.

The helmet is just some old open face that my uncle painted years ago. I guess he was ahead of his time, now there is a ton of custom helmet painters doing crazy shit with those Biltwell lids.
The grips were actually really easy, all I did was epoxy some thin foam around the bars and wrap it with some thin leather cording I found at Tandy Leather. The cording is held down with some more epoxy and has held up extremely well. I stole the idea from Brooks -->
those grips retail...
Tires are ok, I wouldn't put them on anything you want to drag a knee with, but they get me back and forth to work fine. I definitely avoid grooved highways with those Firestones because they like to walk pretty bad. I built the bike to bomb around Denver and as a fun daily commuter so I'm not...
