Suzuki VX800, a kind of scrambler

Because of too many bikes, projects or running, i've started the build of a new house, and a bigger garage, so, al the money will be spent on that, and i cannot ask for subvention (from my best half) for finishing the projects till the house isn't ready/finished. Suzuki VX800, a kind of scrambler

Bad news, in Romania we have an emergency situation, due to Covid-19, and everybody stay at home, so, all my projects are postponed till the end of this crisis. I'm a little frustrated, so many bikes and no time for chop & ride.

Depends on you in what manner you'll choose to modify the bike. Personally, i would put a handlebar/fatbar, like on BMW GS or KTM, would keep the exhaust headers and change only the mufflers to have a clean line on the bottom end. Is just an opinion. Pretty close to the final form.

Your bike is a good base to start a big enduro/scrambler project. Keep the fuel tank, make a custom seat, remove passenger pegs and all unnecessary parts like old turning signals, stock exhaust, fenders/mud guards, etc. A search on net is a good ideea for inspiration and how-to-do hints.

Yes, but is a pain in the ass to find a good tyre for 18" front wheel , i'm using 110/80 -18 MC58S TT on front and 150/70 - 17B M/C 69T TL M+S on rear, the bike is heavy, 230 kg wet.

I'm trying to do side covers/panels, adapting a pair of TT600 covers. Will be used as model to make final form. And some pics from different stages.
