    From here (my caveat), looks like a sound approach. The forces inside the Ducati arm were designed for a more downward force than you would be applying, but I doubt that would matter much.

    Mocked up on a spare 695 engine I have. I’ll get the engine onto a stand this weekend. Rear axle is due soon. Wheel is being ordered today. 16x3 HD to fit an FXST/XL. Did some digging and those have hubs with ~6 5/16” width. That’ll for sure go behind the motor...

    Picked up the hard tail plates today. These are for mock up & wheel fitment. I’ll end up using something different. But, they’re an inexpensive way for me to fit it all together first. This whole thing may not work...

    Thanks! Plates for a rigid rear mock-up should be done @ the water jet on Friday. Still no rear wheel, so it may be a bit before more photos.
