I ended up going with clip ons. Best decision ever! Lowered the forks and mounted above the triple clamp. The new riding position feels even better than the old.
I'm looking for clip ons ASAP. Don't care too much about condition as long as they're straight and safe. Black or chrome/silver. The usable bar length has to be at least 8.5". Shorter than standard fork tube clamp type preferred.
