    GS550 - Giselle (SOLD)

No passenger. It was built for one. As she was kick start only, hid a small hobby battery in the tail, just as a cap, and to keep the lights on for about 20 min before/after running.

    GS550 - Giselle (SOLD)

Re: GS550 - Giselle (MORE PICS ADDED!) Welded flat plate between the frame rails and drilled it to accept the cowl bolt pattern. Seat pan was made from the stock seat pan; cut, welded and hammered to shape. It attaches with the stock pivot and keyed latch.

Frame got back from the blaster a few weeks ago :D. Then got primered and put on the shelf. :( Too many other paying gigs around here to futz with it. Will pick it back up when the season slows down.

    CB 125 Resto - Bluey

The front is an IRC Zap. It's too big, can't install the fender or route the brake line properly. Its coming off this winter.

SEPTEMBER 2012 DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - WINNER!

Re: SEPTEMBER 2012 DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTING The reward is in riding it. We've all got these season-long projects that always seem to take a little longer than anticipated. I was just happy to get in the saddle so quickly after the purchase. The nomination is just gravy.

Re: SEPTEMBER 2012 DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTING I wasn't even looking for a new project when I stumbled across this GS. PO was trying to sell it for $800 and had no takers so he was gonna call the local scrap metal guy to come pick it up. I offered $400 and he handed over the keys...
