A bunch of different methods have been mentioned over time: add gravel, BB's or those rocks for fish tanks and shake vigorously. Or you can do one of the many 2 part chemical processes followed by a chemical tank liner.

I've been slowly planning my seat build for the R5 as well. It seems modding/fixing the stock seat pan is the best option if you are able to figure out a good method. I guess it would all depend on where it rusted through.

Instead of "Los Angeles" having a SoCal patch would be better, since it is a larger region than just limiting to LA. (I've been in SoCal my whole life and I would never associate myself with the City of LA, even when I lived in LA county.)

Sweet. I've been lusting after a 15-passenger version myself. You can either load them with benches or have a huge enclosed hauler without all the unnecessary weight and space inefficiency of a Suburban.
