I just finished sealing the tank with POR 15. My first time doing that. A lil nervous but I followed the directions to the "T".
only problem was the second step, etching the tank. My duct tape didn't hold and most of it spilled out the petcock hole.
I"m confident...

Nobodies posted in at least thirty days!? Well I've hardly worked on the GN in more time than that. But emptied the tank (since it's sprung a pinhole leak, got some aluminum to fab into a tail-section/cowl. I'll be workin on her this weekend and hope to have her on the road for May's Backfire...
I'm in the Bought Hell (Bothell) area. Near top o' "Nike" Hill. I've got a CL360 that's taking up space with some parts that some yoos might be interested. Right now I'm trying to cafe my 81 GN400. can someone tell me where to find a place to have my seat done? GNGeorge
