Battle of the Brits is September 8th and this year the event is at Camp Dearborn in Milford. All Clubs Day is September 15th. I like to get there early (10ish) and watch and listen to all the bikes coming in. Don't forget the pancake breakfast at the church. Gordon

Next month AHRMA will be racing at Grattan Raceway, northeast of Grand Rapids. Some of the builders featured on the cafe racers tv show will be there racing. Lots of old bikes and modern twins and triples. June 16th and 17th. Good place to take your Dad if he's a gearhead. I'll be racing my MZ...

Basically a meet and greet. Coffee and donuts in the town square and route sheets for rides in the area. Haven't been to any of the spring events, but the fall ones are old bike overkill. I'll be on the MZ Baghira with the super moto wheels. Say hi. It's always good to put faces to names. Gordon

CB750 will be a handful for a first timer, but if the rider wants to do it, so be it. Personally, I prefer simple. One cylinder = one piston, one sparkplug, one coil etc. I absolutely hate wrenching at the track and singles seem to have less trouble than multis. I'm not getting any younger, and...
