bringing this back up, since im pretty much doing the same thing as you with a honda xl 175. As far as street handling, how did those enduro style forks ride with a smaller than stock front wheel?

awsome, on a standard cafe bike whats the wheel size like. I believe stock the rear is a 18/19 with front being a 21. Should I get a smaller xl wheel from the xl100 model and throw it on there? Thats mainly the only concern i see with cafe'ing this bike up. Just the front wheel and front forks.

well bringing this back up too see if i should do it or not its pretty rusty, but runs and has title for 200. Needs all extra crap removed and clipons, cafe seat, lower front forks, and smaller front wheel.

Looking to buy a 250cc and under bike. Running is a plus and able to be cafe'd is another. I love the older late 60-70s bikes, but whatever works! My limit is kinda small as far as cash, and also have a running sachs g3 rare toptank moped to trade + cash also. Thanks
