That Green CL72 (or 77 without the muffler) might be factory"custom". If my memory is correct there where limited factory editions from Honda. Not sure what years this was done

I believe its due to the Honda fours use 1 coil for each pair of cylinders. One for 1-3, an one for 2-4. Therefore each coil fires twice per revolution. Cyl. 1 on power stroke and cyl. 3 on exhaust. Then cyl. 2 on power cyl. 4 on exhaust. To complete the firing order for one revolution, then...

Space the carbs back to get the clearance you need. As much as an inch would help add plenum to make up for running the velocity stacks without the air box anyway.

My best friend in North Ga. and I are going to do this. He's got a 65 Honda S90, and I have a 72 CB100 that hasn't run in 30 years. Looks like alot of fun and for a good cause. Check out the website for some good pics and videos.

Carbs need to come out first. You did not need to pull the boots. In fact they need to be back in the box on reinstall.
