what rear shocks are those and where can i get a pair?

Where did you get the bends to make the header pipes? What is the CLR of the bends what is the diameter of the pipe? It looks like you had to piece together a few different bends to make the angles line up? I'd like to make my own 4-2 exhaust too but the "off the shelf" mandrel bends are only...

Shouldn't the GL1000 and CB750 steering bearings be the same? Now you got me worried since I'm doing the same swap.

+1 on this. But only if you can make it cost less than $100. And a few suggestions... Make it to use a standard headlight H4 bulb instead of a sealed beam. It would also be nice to have the option to cut our own hole for the gauge since I may use an aftermarket digital speedo/tach combo for...

Awesome project! I'm in the process of doing the same swap with the GL1000 front end on my '76 CB750K. I see that you have the clipons...do you think clubmans will work with the GL trees?

where did you end up getting new rear spokes for the 17" aluminum wheel?

what material did you use to make the exhaust? what diameter tubing and what kind of angles did you use if you remember off hand. Thanks and great bike.

I'd be up for that but not on my puny KZ400 :-[ i don't want to be the one holding up the pack. Once my CB750 is up and running this spring, I'll be up for riding with you guys.

that's a good point. If someone can just make a cover for a modified stock seat pan or this one.... (say around the $100 range) we'd be in business. I could just add some foam and assemble it all myself....

+1 for the Giuliari Cafe Racer Seat for the CB750. If you can make one for under $400 shipped, count me in for one now!
