It was a casual vid nice to watch. The hard part is most of us don't have a bike in a box. I'm not gonna lie not hearing it run at the end was a disappointment after watching it all be put together.
They are fcrs copies in the end. Also you can get fcr parts and jets everywhere because they put them in lots of dirt bikes! Yay! I have boysen thumb adjustable accelerator pups on my xv too.

Looks pretty darn good to me. If anything a tad lean. I can't see the detail but with that plug and a white ring around the electrode is perfect in my books.
Ya the deltoros are in the class of fcr and hsr as they are flatslides with another fuel circuit, the accelerator pump. But if u compare any mikuni to any keihin carb the quality of keihin always comes on top and its not even close.
I would not be surprised the deltoros are better than mikuni...
Ya that vaguely sounds familiar. Ya it was years ago when installed them. I always keep all that packaging. I remember them coming with spacers, ill investigate.
I was blown away coming from 2 stroke air jet tuning where you go from 0.5 to 1.5 turns and find the sweet spot somewhere in between. Even 1/2 a turn is a big deal on these carbs. I leaned it out a little too much and got stumble after, I fixed it with half a turn WTF! 1.5 turns on the fuel jet...
Its the progressive spring upgrade for the xv920 so aftermarket correct, your supposed to be able to run these without the air added, iirc. I'll check it the preload I forgot these are adjustable, lol. Hopefully thats it. The front has never felt stiff.
