Re: Honda CL450 "Black and Tan"
I just checked in with Miley and he recommended a guy and member joe weaver down in mobile. Sounds good to me. I'd rather have it in the hands of someone who knows what a cl450 is.
Re: Honda CL450 "Black and Tan"
Thanks to all of you for the replies this helps. So to sum it up. I am going to take it to hums and ask him to be mindful of how much he cuts because there isn't much clearance. If he has to remove a lot and not just re lap them....then ask him to...
Re: Honda CL450 "Black and Tan"
I got it pulled off but it was no joke. That sicker was on there. I might have to replace the cam. I heated blasted pulled etc for hours. Finally went to a puller. Created a custom puller. ....nothing. Last resort I cut down the sides with a Dremmel...

Re: Honda CL450 "Black and Tan"

Re: Honda CL450 "Black and Tan"
Correction... That the compression loss is not due to poorly adjusted valves. Anything other than that and I might as well see what's going on inside.
Re: Honda CL450 "Black and Tan"
This is good info. I am wondering if I should put the engine back together and double check that the compression loss is not due to the valves. I also did not check it with oil in the cylinder to check the rings. I knew about that trick but forgot (it's...
