When you put it that way I think it makes sense, little bit of old with a little bit of new. Just like what most of us are doing with these bikes. Modernizing them for this day and age.
With fall in full swing, I'm riding a lot more in the rain. Have the gear for it so I don't mind it but I'm finding that the bike doesn't run well once the pods get wet.

Every bike is going to respond differently. As mentioned above, your exhaust will be a factor. I have a CB550, stock carbs, K&N pod filters and a 4 into 1 open exhaust. Went from 100 mains to 115's and the bike is running beautifully. Rest of the carb is stock.

I use these on my CB550. I would compare them to super bike bars with regards to riding position, maybe a touch lower. There are tons of pics online, what are you looking for specifically?

Unfortunately, I ended up cleaning the plugs so I don't have another picture.
Forgot to mention that I also have a Dyna S ignition installed.
