No pics!! :-\ the tensioner is definitely a 360 tensioner. cutting off the top of the 350 guide made it a bit short. might not be sitting where it should. but i made sure the top fit extra snug to compensate.
Its hard to visualize without know what the two look like side by side.... pictures...
I recently had the cam chain tensioner break on my cl360, which caused the guide to break as well. After searching endlessly, i found a NEW tensioner! BUT the guy had no guides for the 360, only the 350, which is very different. I managed to modify the guide to fit into my 360's channel by...
the guide in the front is the piece i need. i'm also wondering if the bottom of the guide has horizontal prongs just like the top. mine broke towards the bottom. i got some shrapnel out using a magnet, but none of the pieces resembled those prongs. should i keep on fishin??

I just did all that good stuff a couple weeks ago! new points, new chain, (old sprockets but they're in good shape) and all timed up. I did change the oil to a heavier synthetic but this started happening before that.
Ok so....checked the carbs they seemed a-ok. I was banking on it being a torn diaphragm but they were just fine. I put everything back together, go to fire it up, and now the left cylinder isn't firing......of course! Didn't even touch the dang thing. Now i'm brainstorming over lunch with no...
I swear every time i fix something on this bike its great for a few weeks, then some new problem arises like clockwork. does this happen to anyone else?? I had cleaned the carbs and timed it about a month ago and its been running like a dream since then up until the other day when this started...
Hello!
I am relatively new to the motorcycle world (been riding just over 2 years now) and I'm glad i found this forum to ask some pros about the ongoing fixing/maintaining of my 75 CL 360!
Figured out how to fix just about every problem i've had so far by myself, but now that i have the...
