1973 Cb350G Right Hand Controls Wiring

I picked up a 73 350G last year. The previous owner had something go bad with the starter switch, and they remedied it with a trip to the local RadioShack. I picked up a used set of controls from ebay, but they appear to be a couple of wires short. Coming out of the bucket I have a couple of...

    Clear Coat Bubbling

Will POR-15 fill pinholes, or is Red-Kote a better option?

    Clear Coat Bubbling

This didn't happen until I applied the new paint and clear coat. I had previously used lacquer, and that was unaffected. This is on the top of the tank, and the color doesn't seem to be affected, only the clear.

    Clear Coat Bubbling

I recently re-painted my tank using spray bombs mixed at Napa, and I finished with Spray Max 2k clear coat. It looked fine for about a week, but then a couple of bubble spots appeared. One is near the front weld points of the tank, so it isn't very noticeable, and I don't care. The other is of...

1973 CB 350 Points Cover & Float Bowl

I'm looking for a points cover with screws, and a float bowl for a 73 CB 350. I believe the points cover is the same for the all years of the CB350 and covers for the CL350, SL350, and the CB250 will also fit...

    Hole in Float Bowl

Wow. Thanks. I believe it's a second generation. The older carbs I have are more square.

    Hole in Float Bowl

That's what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure if it would hold up to the fuel, and heat. Thanks!

    Hole in Float Bowl

The hole is actually in the bowl, not the float.

    Hole in Float Bowl

I recently picked up a 1973 Honda CB350G. I've pulled the carbs, and after cleaning them, I've discovered a few small holes in one of the float bowls. Can this be fixed? If it can be, what is the best method? Solder, JB Weld, or just purchase a new one? I of course have four CB350 carbs sitting...

    Getting started

Looking good. What type of levers are those? Stupid question, but does the geometry make them any easier to pull? I dislocated my thumb a number of years ago, and clutching for an hour or two causes pain to the point when I can barely pull the lever. Getting old has its drawbacks.
