    seat foam alternatives

Just so you know I drive a Cat D-11 for a living and they are definetely not designed well and for comfort. I'd rather ride an uncomfortable motorcycle seat any day.

72 Suzuki Buffalo; Project Buffalo Bill(d)

I had the same problem on my h1 and i used atf with acetone and heat, then i used an air chisel with a round tip and hammered down the pistons, worked like a charm. They never moved until i used the air hammer, and even then it took a while. Obviously your pistons will not be used again.

"Kafe" out of the Box? 1982 GSX-1000 Katana

Oh, it's all good. I definitely love that we all have different opinions, imagine what this world would be if everyone had the same taste. Boring!!!

"Kafe" out of the Box? 1982 GSX-1000 Katana

It is your bike, so do with as you please but if it were mine i'd sell it cause in my opinion it is one of the ugliest bikes ever produced, but i know people like them stock.

    77 Suzuki GS550 - first build

I'm in Kimberley BC, also if you want I have a perfect (scratched and need paint but all tabs and no cracks) set of side covers you can have for $25 plus shipping. I'll be going to Eureka on friday morning and can send from there for cheaper shipping. Also have stock exhaust in near perfect shape.

    77 Suzuki GS550 - first build

The thing is I'm not an idiot poser, I've had bikes my whole life and have always customized them, you assume that someone is a poser cause they like this look? I think maybe you are an idiot for assuming this. I've tuned my bike properly and have been tuning carbs for over 20 years so don't...

    77 Suzuki GS550 - first build

I mounted electrics under seat, and detabbed frame of all tabs and you could just touch up paint i suppose but i did frame off resto so i powder coated clear after sandblasting. I suppose you could do it in a day if just touching up paint and you are decent with rewiring things.

Well looks are a personal thing, and i like the look of open triangle and its not at all a waste of time money or effort. In fact you can do it for free, effort is minimal and it doesn't take much time. If we all liked exactly the same look then why would we even be on this forum...almost all...
