    Custom seat, without fiberglass?

I did mine in metal but I used 18 gage... way to heavy, hard to work with. It is my first attempt at metal work. I will end up redoing it but I don't think its too bad for a first try.

Best way to paint knee dents and stencils?

I agree with Kev. cream first, but I would really think hard about the dents. It is very hard to get a good line on a hand made dent. The edge is rounded and can be a bitch when you start layong down the tape line, even if your body work is perfect. If it was a factory stamped knee then I would...

What color should I powder-coat the frame?

I like the idea of the white but it will be a pain to keep clean... So maybe the blue.

    Hand Painting Tank Graphics

Most of us would be riding stock motorcycles if we left it to the professionals.. Do some research and jump in both feet. Leave the professionals as a back up. ;D

    1974 Yamaha TX650 Cafe Project

Had another set back electrically but its fixed now and as soon as I get the new tail light it's on the road. I took it for a quick ride up the private road at our land and I have a big ass grin on my face. [<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/efKpfXBP1-w"...

Thanks! The paint was matached to the RAL number and looked really close on my test sample but on the tins it is off a little I think the black surounding it make it look darker than it is and/or my novice painting. ;D Thanks again.

Thanks everyone. I hope I can finish up all the odds and ends this weekend. It has taken me about 3 months longer that I would have liked. It is far from finished i will end up repainting over the winter, maybe redesign the tail and i want to design a better dash/ gauge cluster. But it is my...
