Hey man, I feel your pain, I went out and bought a cb200 (from Sydney) last year also and your intro story sounds surprisingly familiar. I also have made little progress with my project. Will be keeping an eye on this tread to see how it pans out... and maybe it will inspire me to get back...

Any ideas if the 200 spokes will work? Or is it a safer bet to get 175 front specs and 200 rear spokes. As you may have guessed this is my first build and I'm a bit of a noob.

I thought that there was an early model with a drum, perhaps the 74? Could be wrong though....

Hey all, I'm planning on using a cb175 drum hub on my cb200t wheels. Does anyone know if the cb175 hub is the same dimensions for the spokes as the cb200 drum hub? Also, has anyone had any negative experiences with the spoke packs from eBay? Any help would be great, thanks

Hey guys, Looking at spraying my frame soon, is there any paints I should avoid or prefer for a frame?... like enamel or acrylic. I don't really know much about paint at this stage. Also has anyone had any problems with duplicolour metal specks for frames? Cheers for any help

From what i've read you can change a battery for a capacitor if you are using kick start only and have minimal electronics, capacitors discharge when not in use (on charge). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey, loving the look of your bike so far. Where did you get the rims from, I'm looking for a new set for my cb200. Doesn't seem to be many parts for these in aus, everything I've ordered so far is from the us. Keen to see this one finished, might pinch some ideas for my build :D Cheers

Re: '75 CB200T Let's build! Hey, Just starting my own cb200 build and was wondering was the rearsets you bought for this build the motobits cb175 set? If so how do the linkages go for mounting? Are they fairly bolt on or will you have to modify them?
