    Can you dig it?

There are a few options for loosing speed going that fast (or faster, ive done close to 80km/hr). You a) spread your arms and stand up straight to wind break. b) drag your pushing foot (foot break) c) slide stop or speed check (similar to stopping/speed checking with a snowboard) d) bail or e)...

    Can you dig it?

Man. Love longboarding. Got to the point when my collection of boards was ridiculous (10ish?) so i started making my own. It's nice to see a focus on female riders in a quality video. Now i just wish i had more time for all of my hobbies (dont we all?)

Question: preparing for a bike trip

Bahahahah. Sorry that's my bad ::). I literally just finished an oil change in my car and unfortunately that transposed into my typing. Ive been using 10w40 quaker state for my bike. That's good to know! thanks for the heads up and sorry for my blunder!

Question: preparing for a bike trip

Thanks for the tips swivel. Much appreciated. About the engine oil, what is the difference between the so called MC oil and your typical 5 w 30? Other than the price of course.

Question: preparing for a bike trip

Cool, that's about what I expected. I had read through the manual already and I'm pretty anal in making sure things are in good running condition, especially when being a fair distance from home.

Question: preparing for a bike trip

Hey all! Looking for some advice and/or stories about your bike trips. I'm interested in doing a round trip this summer from Saskatchewan to Southern Ontario (2900 km one way, or around 1600 miles). I've done quite a bit of highway driving with my bike (kz550) and know that it should be fine...

Will My Fiberglass Cafe Seat Hold Up?

I figured that was the case as it was stated so earlier in the post. I was just curious as to how the seat looks with the original kawasaki rails forming not parallel lines with the seat, or if the seat was deep enough to hide the frame rails.

Will My Fiberglass Cafe Seat Hold Up?

Got any side pictures of your bike? Specifically the seat and how it sits on top of the battery box mount.

Canadian Poll of Polls - Where are you located?

It's a little depressing to look at a post 4 years old and realize you're the only that's responded to Saskatchewan haha.

    Aftermarket Brake/Clutch

Thanks Teazer. Yah I figured i'd check to see if anyone had experience with em knowing that they are significantly cheaper than most other setups. THey look pretty rad, but looks don't count for squat if they fall apart when you need em the most.

    Aftermarket Brake/Clutch

I see!! Thanks for both you responses. I'm glad to know a couple people have been eyeing them. I also never thought about the size of the bore. THanks for that Staffy. I'll let y'all know what i decided to go with.

    should i change my seat

Well it's your ride, if you don't like the way it looks or want something different, do it! Or sell it and start a new project. It's easy to get caught up in always wanting to change that little something that looks off to you. On that note, a rounded cowl would look good on the back of yours...

Bad back and other bad news

I realize you didn't mean it literally (I think?....), but I have to ask.... What were you doing around cannon balls?!
